You Have Mail…Well Sort Of.
Its not everyday I get a personal email sent to my Orble account so you can imagine my excitement when I was notified that there was one waiting for me in my inbox.
Who could it be I thought, daring to dream that it may be someone who actually enjoyed one of my blogs. Perhaps I had connected with a desperate soul which has been cast aside and drifting in the desolate vastness of the internet.
My fantasy soon turned to which post exactly my new found fan had connected with. Did she (it is a fantasy after all) also have problems with a hard disk? Perhaps she too has broken a new year’s resolution. What the heck, the reason didn’t matter. As long as she wasn’t ticked off with anything I thought as I was about to open the email from the lofty heights of cloud nine….

The one thing I did get right was that it was a female although ‘Gloria Mumah’ wasn’t the first name that came to mind. And as alluring as an opportunity to make $AU 1,540,000 for doing nothing is, I’m not quite sure what was more disappointing, the fact that this has been sent to nearly half the online population in the universe or that it isn’t even addressed to me.
Back to my dreaming.
